Dogs at Delfryn

Dog Friendly Holiday Cottages

Our Dog Policy

Delfryn is dog friendly, and we are happy to accept your pet, but ask that owners please respect our dog policy. We charge £25 per dog per stay.

Not everyone likes dogs, some can be afraid or even allergic to them, so we must be aware and respect that. We want every customer to feel safe and happy and not suffer any unpleasant experience from either previous dogs or resident ones on site. Please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with the dog policy below, to avoid any misunderstanding and to ensure that you and your dog will be happy here.

Whilst staying as a guest at Delfryn, your dog:

  • Needs to be up to date with both worming and flea treatments.
  • Should be restricted to the living areas and must be kept out of the bedrooms and off soft
furnishings, beds/bedding, rugs etc. In Shell Cottage this can be challenging as the living space is open plan, so please phone to discuss options. You might need to consider using a crate.
  • Must be kept on a lead within the grounds, or under control and with the permission of other guests present if off the lead.
  • Should not be left unattended anywhere within the grounds or in your cottage.
  • Dog waste must be picked up and disposed of in bags and bins provided.

The large lawn is ideal for dogs, but is not an enclosed space.

There are many excellent walks in the area and many pubs and cafes are dog friendly.
