We welcome well behaved dogs at Delfryn, but ask that guests adhere to our dog owners’ policy and are mindful that some guests may not be comfortable with dogs.

Our large communal lawn is ideal for exercising your dog and there are stunning walks in every direction, along with dog friendly beaches. Shuttle buses which are dog friendly cover the length of the coastal path enabling you not to have to retrace your steps and they run right past the door. The coast path is a short walk from our cottages. Please note that dogs must be kept on a lead on the coast path.

A nearby abandoned WWII aerodrome is also popular with dog walkers and offers short or long walks surrounded by gorse, wild flowers, grasses, and array of wildlife and is also wheelchair/buggy accessible.

In summer, all beaches apart from Whitesands and the middle portion of the beach at Newgale, allow dogs.
Most pubs and many restaurants are dog friendly.

If you need a vet, the oak veterinary practice has a part time surgery in St David’s (Tel: 01437 721 375 or 01437 760 111).

We ask that you adhere strictly to our dog policy and be aware that our other guests may be uncomfortable in the presence of dogs.

Eco Friendly Delfryn

Comfort – Practicality – Sustainability

Pembrokeshire National Park is a very special place - it is a wild and beautiful part of Wales. It has some of the best views, walks and beaches in the world and we are passionate about retaining its unspoilt qualities so that we may continue to share it with future generations.

At Delfryn we strive to provide a beautiful environment for guests to enjoy their holiday cottage and its surroundings whilst also maintaining an authentic and sustainable environment.

We take a practical approach to being eco friendly and sustainable, shopping locally where possible, and using cleaning products that are kind to the environment. We ask for your co operation in following our recycling procedures rigorously otherwise it causes huge problems involving vast amounts of resources to correct.

Our cottages are furnished with natural materials, and we use up-cycled furniture where possible, although your comfort is our priority.

High quality beds are made of natural materials, and bedding and towels are laundered in-house with eco products, then line-dried before being fluffed up briefly.

The garden is natural by design and is a haven for birds, butterflies, bees and other insects. We also leave some areas in their natural state and take part in ‘No-mow-May.’

Choosing to stay at Delfryn should enable you to immerse yourself in the best of authentic Pembrokeshire.
