Overview:

For those of you who haven’t been before, the class is suitable for
complete beginners. Emily will provide all tools and materials (there will
be a small extra charge for the willow). A pair of secateurs are
useful, if you have them, but no worries if not.

You will start with round ‘steak and strand’ round shape baskets,
which gives complete beginners a good grounding to move to different
shapes and styles of baskets later on. You can expect to make one
basket in three weeks, or two in the six week block. Smaller projects
like bird feeders and decorative items are also more than possible!
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.

About the workshop:

The six week course is progressive in the first 6 weeks you should have been able to make 2 or 3 smallish projects usually planters. For the more advanced, larger more complicated projects can be achieved. If you sign up for another 6 weeks then you will be learning further techniques and mastering more difficult skills.
