Overview:
Heather is keen to design a course around the needs of the class. However it is likely that it will involve familiarizing yourselves with your sewing machine, getting to know it better, how all the features work, how to get the best from it and how to look after it. Then basic sewing skills for those that need it followed by loads of fun with different fabrics, threads and techniques. Heather’s combined teaching skills, technical knowledge and artistic flair will help you achieve confidence and work to be proud of.
About the workshop:
Last term amongst the class, new cushion covers were made for a camper van, some snazzy palazzo pants were made, a dress was turned into a blouse, some free motion machine embroidery was done and also a Christmas tree was made from gentleman’s ties for a charity display. So everyone’s sewing needs were met.
